STEEL BAND REPERTOIRE – NEW CLIENTS PLEASE READ …
The main idea behind the concept of Steelasophical, was having a quality professional music service that was flexible, adaptable and evolving.
To this end the choice of music is ever important, and today we boast one of the largest and widest ranging musical repertoire of any Steel Band.
Below you will see a list of songs which form the CORE of our repertoire, and not the entire song choice.
Something else to take into consideration is that we are always keen to incorporate the wishes of the client, and will always provide the special something they want to hear, but we do not provide a Jukebox service – ultimate selection and choice of style, mix tempo must be left to the judgement of Steelasophical – Its part of what makes us the best at what we do … in creating and maintaining the perfect musical backdrop
More recently we have added Sussex by the Sea and the IZ version of Somewhere over the Rainbow, songs that meant the world to the client, and were more than pleased to include within the musical performance on their day
It is important to be able to have this flexibility and variety, as it allows us to be able to perform at any type of function and for any age range of audience. From the softest and gentlest of music to wine, dine, mix and mingle, to the loudest most vibrant music to whine, dance and prance and leave you feeling hot hot hot
