The Secret letter I Like You ……

A reason season lifetime

People come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime.  When you figure out which it is, you know exactly what to do.

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed outwardly or inwardly.  They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or spiritually.  They may seem like a godsend, and they are.  They are there for the reason you need them to be.  Then, without any wrong doing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.  Sometimes they die.  Sometimes they walk away.  Sometimes they act up or out and force you to take a stand.  What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled;  their work is done.  The prayer you sent up has been answered and it is now time to move on.

When people come into your life for a SEASON, it is because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn.  They may bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.  They may teach you something you have never done.  They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.  Believe it!  It is real!  But, only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons; those things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation.  Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person/people (anyway);  and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life.  It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

Oh, the Lord Looked Down

Oh, the Lord looked down from his window in the sky,
Said: ‘I created man, but I can’t remember why!
Nothing but fighting since creation day.
I’ll send a little water and wash them all away.’
Oh, the Lord came down and looked around a spell.
There was Mr Noah behaving mighty well.
And that is the reason the Scriptures record
Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord,
Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord,
Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord,
And he left him high and dry.

The Lord said: ‘Noah, there’s going to be a flood,
There’s going to be some water, there’s going to be some mud,
So, take off your hat, Noah, take of your coat,
Get Shem, Ham, and Japeth and build yourself a boat.’
Noah said: ‘Lord, I don’t believe I could.’
The Lord said: ‘Noah, get yourself some wood.
You never know what you can do till you try.
Build it fifty cubits wide and thirty cubits high.’Noah said: ‘There she is, there she is, Lord!’
The Lord said: ‘Noah, it’s time to get aboard.
Take of each creature a he and a she,
And of course take Mrs Noah and the whole family.’
Noah said: ‘Lord, it’s getting mighty dark.’
The Lord said: ‘Noah, get those creatures in the ark.’
Noah said: ‘Lord, it’s beginning to pour.’
The Lord said: ‘Noah, hurry up and close the door.’The ark rose up on the bosom of the deep.
After forty days Mr Noah took a peep.
He said: ‘We’re not moving, Lord, where are we at?’
The Lord said: ‘You’re sitting right on Mount Ararat.’
Noah said: ‘Lord, it’s getting nice and dry.’
The Lord said: ‘Noah, see my rainbow in the sky.
Take all your creatures and people the earth,
And be sure that you’re not more trouble than you’re worth.’

The Secret letter I Like You

The Secret letter I Like You

I like you.
As simple as it is.
I like the coffees and papers we both had and did.
You know I hate mornings, but I don’t care if I have to wake up early just to have it spent with you.
You made 7am my most awaited time of the day.
I like how we share our own realisations and contemplation about the decisions we made and the feelings we ignore,
about the people that surrounds us and what lessons we could learn from them,
about the love and life we both gave, received and taken for granted.
I like our long walks and talks.
How we smile at people we meet along the way.
How we used to see the same man on the same spot almost everyday.
How you slip on the big stones,
because you were always looking at me when I tell you stories.
I like every seat we always sat on.

The Secret letter I Like You

The second table near the window of that fast food chain,
the middle tree in the park,
the couch in the cafe,
the last row in our class.
I like how we frown when somebody took them first,
like it’s our own spot and we bought it.
I like how we had almost every meal of the day together.
Two extra sugars and creamer for your coffee,
three for me.
How you taught me to eat street food,
how I encourage you to stop drinking soda,
how you always remind me to lessen eating sweets
but still treats me sundaes when I’m stressed.
I like how we waited for our separate classes to end,
but wish our class together to extend.
Going home, I like how we wait for the bus to arrive,
though somehow we would not want it to arrive that fast.
How we manage to seat right next to each other though the seats are full.
How we say hi and smile at cute little kids.
How you automatically say ‘take care’ whenever I reach my bus stop.
I like how we text ‘home’
that means we’re home when we got home.

The Secret letter I Like You

How you tell me to have dinner and start doing the things I need to accomplish because I’m too stubborn and forgetful.
How we randomly still have conversation though we’re together the whole day.
I like how we sent each other’s videos,
my baby cousin,
the new dance cover you’re making,
even the songs we wanted each other to hear,
the quotations we saw on tumblr,
anything that reminds me of you and you of me.
I like every random moments we shared.
Checked my locker,
had your haircut,
went on booksales,
ran errands,
run through the storm,
met that wittiest kid,
bought sourstrips,
ditched our whole day class,
enjoyed the silence on a cold night while we both stared at nothingness,
only with the sound of crickets and our heartbeats.

The Secret letter I Like You

I like your eyes and how they shine like the stars in the night,
I like your scent and the sound of your laughter,
I like your gestures when you speak, as if it’s a new dance step I’s like to learn,
I like when you always argue with me with those little things just to tease me,
I like how you unconsciously made me happy with the littlest things you do and say.
I like you
I like the way you look at me like every secrets hidden in my heart are revealed,
I like how you know me very well,
what makes me smile, what annoys me, what my choices will be.
I like you
and heck, I couldn’t contain it anymore,
but I can’t say it right in front of you eyes because I don’t know if I’ll lose you and just the thought of it almost makes me drown.
No, I don’t like you.
I want you.
I love you.
As simple and as complicated as it is.

I know you wrote a post about me here last night and I know you know I still love you. Why do you think I don’t? I’ve been in love with you for the past year and some months to where I don’t feel differently right now than I did when I first met you. I wanted to kiss you last night and they all wanted me to but I didn’t know how you’d feel. Tell me how you’d feel. Please.

The Most painful thing. It’s seeing you everyday. You refused to admit to me you have a girlfriend, and It’s because you don’t want to hurt me. But Little did you know, the most painful thing of all is you lying to me. You still tease me, but not like before. Outside of school, I’m just a stranger and nothing matters. All of the conversations we had? They’re blurred by the drops of my tears. I still see your face light up when we’re together. But It’s all hidden, because you’re too sweet to break up with Her. Emma’s not right for you, But I am. Can’t you see? You’re Killing me.
