The enCORE 100 is a passive dynamic stage microphone. This is the straightforward choice for live vocals, speaking, wedding announcements, MC duties and general event use. It doesn’t require phantom power and is designed to withstand regular live work.
Blue enCORE 200 – Premium Live Performance
The enCORE 200 is an active dynamic microphone. Unlike a conventional passive dynamic microphone, its active circuitry requires phantom power. We’d choose this when wanting a more refined live vocal microphone with strong output and presence.
Blue Spark – Studio Recording
The Blue Spark is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone and is primarily our recommendation for studio vocals, voice recording and instruments rather than routine handheld event work. It requires phantom power.
